We spend a LOT of time at the beach and pool during the Summer. I'm so excited for some warm weather coming up here in Portland this week! I feel like a beach trip is long overdue. Since we spend so much time there, I pretty much have my essentials packed at all times in my beach bag. We can pick up and go at a moments notice, and I don't need to spend hours packing. I wanted to share some of my Summer beach bag essentials with you guys today, since Summer is just a few days away!

Our Go-To Beach Favorites
These items are all such must haves for us when we hit the beach. The girls could play in the sand for hours, so we always pack an abundance of toys. A good cooler is also a must have. This one is quite spendy, but it is SO worth it! We are loving these zip top containers for traveling, storing food, snacks, etc. We bring a lot with us when we head to the beach because we want to spend at least a few hours playing. Our wagon is a must have. I wish I would have gotten one like this one because of the larger, all terrain wheels.
This adorable rainbow kite is a must have! I can't wait to take it with us next time we go to the beach! We also always bring our Yeti water bottles because the water stays cold in the heat. We don't have a pop-up tent, but they are super helpful if you have little babies that want to keep cool or shaded from the sun.
This next item will forever remain in my beach bag for blowing up floaties! It works SO well and can be used on several sized floats. It is USB rechargeable and can also be used as a night light if you're camping.

18 Must Pack Beach Day Items
One - I love having a beach chair to hang out on while the girls play. It gets super uncomfortable sitting on the sand for so long! This one also lays flat so you can lay on your stomach!

Two - These are my all time favorite flip flops. They are SO comfortable and hold up well. I have owned Havianas for the last 15 years or so.
Three - I love a good sunscreen stick, and this one is a fave. It makes things so easy to apply to your face.
Four - I also love a good sunscreen spray, and this one by Beauty Counter is a must have. It goes on evenly and doesn't have any gross stuff in it!
Five - A towel is a no brainer, and we usually bring several. I'm a sucker for stripes, so I love this print!
Six - I am a Wetbrush girl through and through. We probably own 10 of them placed in different areas of our home, car, purse, etc. They are great when the girls get tangled hair at the beach or pool. They work wonders!
Seven - We always pack lots of snacks in our beach and pool bag, and I love these small pouch bags.
Eight - This is a great bag for packing sand toys or to even use as your beach bag!
Nine - I live for my Corkcicle water bottles. They keep our water cold on hot days. I have had ice cubes not melt in this bottle for over 48 hours!
Ten - An umbrella is always a good idea if you need a break from the sun. The beach doesn't offer much shade, so it's nice to have the option. This one is super lightweight and portable.
Eleven - I HAVE to have a good lip sunscreen, and this one is a great option at just $10!
Twelve - We love portable beach/park blankets, and this one zips up with it's own handle. I love that it is thicker than a towel and it's waterproof. We own several!
Thirteen - Have you used a powder sunscreen? I am really loving them! I used this one all summer long.
Fourteen - A good cooler is an absolute must for beach or pool days. I love this print, plus it keeps our food cold!
Fifteen - I love packing a portable blue tooth speaker with us to the pool and beach! This one is waterproof too!
Sixteen - Now for the most important part of our beach bag is the beach bag! This one is HUGE with lots of space for everything you might need. Since posting, this bag has sold out. I wanted to share another favorite of mine that I use ALL Summer long here. It's waterproof and washes in the washing machine!

Eighteen - This Supergoop Glow Stick SPF 50 was amazing in Hawaii! I never once got burnt on my face and I love that it goes on clear.
