Tokyo Street Circuit

The challenging 18-turn, 2.582km street circuit will surround the Tokyo International Exhibition Centre – the largest venue in Japan also known as Tokyo Big Sight. It's a challenging layout that includes three notable straights, technical sequences of tight corners, and high-speed combinations set against the stunning Tokyo metropolis backdrop.

Formula E is coming to Tokyo

The future of motorsport is coming to the modern metropolis of Tokyo. All-electric racing makes its first visit to the streets around the Tokyo Big Sight convention centre on the Tokyo Bay waterfront in March. Get ready to strap in for high-speed, electrified racing and wheel-to-wheel action in the fastest, lightest, most powerful, and efficient electric race car ever built.

Location

Tokyo welcomes the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship as the all-electric racing series heads to Japan for the first time in 2024 with a race around the Big Sight convention centre in Ariake on the Tokyo Bay waterfront.

Getting to the circuit

By BRT / bus

The BRT bus route stops at Kokusai-Tenjijo Station, which is approximately a 7 minutes' walk from Tokyo Big Sight. More information can be found here: https://tokyo-brt.co.jp.e.ald.hp.transer.com/.

Please refer to the bus / BRT websites for timetables as there may be changes and delays caused by surrounding road closures.

By train

It is recommended that all visitors to the race arrives by train. Tokyo Big Sight is approximately a 7 minutes walk from Kokusai-Tenjijo Station on the Rinkai line and the Yurikamome line will stop directly outside the Tokyo Big Sight entrance.

By car

It is not recommended to arrive at the event by car. Parking at Tokyo Big Sight is not available for this event.

By taxi/ uber

It is not recommended to arrive at the event by taxi/Uber. There will be no dedicated taxi/Uber drop off at Tokyo Big Sight for this event.

By air

Tokyo Big Sight is around 60 minutes from Narita International Airport and around 25 minutes from Haneda Airport by airport bus or train.

By water bus

Tokyo Big Sight is approximately a 2 minute walk the Ariake Terminal. Please refer to the Toyko Cruise website for the water bus timetable: https://www.suijobus.co.jp/en/

Secure a reserved seat in and choose a spot down the start/finish straight, with views into the first turn to see all the out-braking manoeuvres or near the final corner to see the run to the finish line. With live race commentary and giant screen views, you won't miss a moment of the action.

Witness the drivers tackle the technical run out of Turn 2 and around the loop from Turn 3 to Turn 5. Take in all the action from a reserved seat in a grandstand, with a giant screen and live commentary you can follow the full lap so you don't miss a moment of racing action.

Category C

Reserve your grandstand seat and see one of the fastest parts of the circuit as the drivers accelerate out of Turn 8 and towards the fast right-hander at Turn 9. You won't miss a moment of the action with a giant screen and live commentary to keep you updated.
